The State Border Guard Service under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania has purchased a border surveillance system for the Puškų Border Guard Station of the Vilnius Border Guard District, which, taking into account the peculiarities of the terrain, can monitor the border in any weather conditions that may occur in the Republic of Lithuania, continuously detects and records objects crossing and approaching the State border, moving on the surface of the ground, detects radio-frequency emitting devices in a defined area, allows visual monitoring of objects and transmits all information to the stationary control centre.
